What Do We Care?

Lamentations 1: 1-12

Introduction: Agree- Disagree? "Christians are the most loving and caring people."

1. There are many people in the world who are uncaring.

            a. it is a defense mechanism.

            b. it cost something to be caring. (the Good Samartan)

2. We disappoint God when we are indifferent.

            All that's necessary for evil to triumph is for...

            Good people to do nothing.

            Our greatest threat is... apathy.

3. We are at our best when we are compassionate.

            If we are children of God, then we must be people who care about others.
