Dream On

Introduction: Joel promised the people that a big change was coming...and that it would be a great change! Let's look at what it means for us today.

1. The PROMISE.

          God will pour out His Spirit.

               (Pentecost)

2. The POWER.

          God's love will change lives.

               Illustration: Drills Battery opperated, 110v powered. One works ok for awhile till the battery runs low. The other needs plugged in to work effectively. We need to be plugged into God.

3. The PURPOSE.

          The Christian life is not just about salvation, but also about transformation.

               (It's not about what we do, but what God does through us.

Conclusion:

          Sometimes we must lose in order to win.

               (Is there something that I need to cut off to set me free?)
